Slang in Costa Rica
For those planning your first visit to Costa Rica it is important to learn some of the local slang.
-Pulperia: (Pool-pa-ree-a) a mini mart
-Soda: (Soh-da) a small restaurant serving local food
-Mala nota: (ma-la no-ta) Not good
